Ellen Varcoe

Ellen was born in 1844 and her baptism took place on March 20th, 1850 in St Newlyna.  Ellen's father was William Varcoe and her mother was Elizabeth Nancarrow.  Her paternal grandparents were Robert Varcoe and Elizabeth Searle. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Alfred, William, Robert, Bessie, Emma, Mary, Christiana and Matilda.  She was the second oldest of the nine children.  She died at the age of 20 in 1864.  She was buried on March 31st, 1864 in St Albans, Christchurch.
