Harriet was born in 1870 in Winteringham.1   Harriet's father was David Frow and her mother was Dorcas Frow.  Her maternal grandparents were John Frow and Ann Towl. She had five brothers and three sisters, named David, Henry, Mark, George, Frederick, Mary, Emma and Ellen.  She was the eighth oldest of the nine children. She had two half-brothers named John and James.  She died at the age of 23 on June 4th, 1893 in Winteringham.2
