Elizabeth Lily Bittan

Elizabeth was born on June 15th, 1882 in Spitalfields.¹ Elizabeth's father was Benjamin Bittan and her mother was Rose (Rosa) Heiser. Her paternal grandparents were Benjamin Bittan and Esther Levy; her maternal grandparents were Abraham Heiser and Sarah Levy. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Benjamin, Samuel, James, Reuben, Esther, Sadie, Julia, Lottie and Josephine. She was the second oldest of the ten children.
