Benjamin Albert Bittan

Benjamin was born on February 24th, 1884 in Mile End.¹ Benjamin's father was Benjamin Bittan and his mother was Rose (Rosa) Heiser. His paternal grandparents were Benjamin Bittan and Esther Levy; his maternal grandparents were Abraham Heiser and Sarah Levy. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Samuel, James, Reuben, Esther, Elizabeth, Sadie, Julia, Lottie and Josephine. He was the third oldest of the ten children.
