Thomas Austen

Thomas was born in 1836 in Tenterden, Kent, England. Thomas' father was Thomas Austen and his mother was Sarah Wightwick. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Austen and Catherine Reader; his maternal grandparents were John Wightwick and Elizabeth Newsham. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Edward, Richard, James, Stephen, George, Elizabeth, Sarah, Ann, Margaret and Mary Jane. He was the second oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 26 in 1862 in Tenterden, Kent, England.
