Ann Austen

Ann was born in 1841 in Tenterden, Kent, England. Ann's father was Thomas Austen and her mother was Sarah Wightwick. Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Austen and Catherine Reader; her maternal grandparents were John Wightwick and Elizabeth Newsham. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, Edward, Richard, James, Stephen, George, Elizabeth, Sarah, Margaret and Mary Jane. She was the fifth oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 1 in 1842.
