Thomas Austen

Thomas was born on June 28th, 1812 in Tenterden, Kent, England. Thomas' father was Samuel Austen and his mother was Catherine Reader. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Austen and Mary Hunt; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Reader and Sarah Merralls. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Samuel, William, Esau, Henry, Catherine, Mary, Jane, Francis and Sarah. He was the third oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 82 on December 4th, 1894 in Australia.
