Marij Hattingh

Marij was born in 1709 in Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa and her baptism took place there on October 27th, 1709.  Marij's father was Hans Hendrich Hattingh and her mother was Maria De Lanoy.  Her paternal grandparents were <Unknown> and <Unknown>; her maternal grandparents were Nicolas De Lanoy and Marguerite De Frans. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Jacobus, Jacob, Johannes, Margaretha and Catrina.  She was the third youngest of the six children. She had four half-brothers and three half-sisters, and also a half-sibling of unknown gender, named Johannes, Johannes, Johannes, Johannes, Margriet, Susanna, Catharina and Christiaan.  She died at the age of 73 in 1782 in Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa.
