Margaretha Hattingh

Margaretha was born in 1700 in Stellenbosch, Western Cape, South Africa and her baptism took place there on November 14th, 1700.  Margaretha's father was Hans Hendrich Hattingh and her mother was Maria De Lanoy.  Her paternal grandparents were <Unknown> and <Unknown>; her maternal grandparents were Nicolas De Lanoy and Marguerite De Frans. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Jacobus, Jacob, Johannes, Marij and Catrina.  She was the second oldest of the six children. She had four half-brothers and three half-sisters, and also a half-sibling of unknown gender, named Johannes, Johannes, Johannes, Johannes, Margriet, Susanna, Catharina and Christiaan.  She died at the age of 79 on April 8th, 1779 in Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa.
