Catharina Hattingh

Catharina was born in 1728 and her baptism took place on March 27th, 1728 in Stellenbosch, Western Cape, South Africa.  Catharina's father was Hans Hendrich Hattingh and her mother was Susanna Visser.  Her paternal grandparents were <Unknown> and <Unknown>; her maternal grandparents were Coenraad Visser and Maria (van Negapatnam). She had four brothers and two sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Johannes, Johannes, Johannes, Johannes, Margriet, Susanna and Christiaan.  She was the youngest of the eight children. She had three half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Jacobus, Jacob, Johannes, Margaretha, Marij and Catrina.
