Alfred Read

Alfred was born in 1855. Alfred's father was John Read and his mother was Sarah Jane Turner. His maternal grandparents were William Turner and Elizabeth Cannings. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, William, Frank, Charles, Alice, Amy and Mary . He was the second oldest of the eight children.
