Phoebe was born on June 28th, 1877 in Chapel Street, Shirley, Hampshire.1  Phoebe's father was Charles Haymer and her mother was Eliza Harrison.  Her paternal grandparents were James Haymer and Lucy; her maternal grandparents were Henry Harrison and Ann Robinson. She had four sisters named Alice, Mary, Agnes and Kate.  She was the youngest of the five children. She had five half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Charles, William, Edward, Arthur, Frederick, Florence, Alice, Bessie, Nellie and Edith.  She died due to a respiratory problem and/or pneumonia at the age of 81 on January 29th, 1959 in 61 Ivy Road, St Denys, Southampton, Hampshire.2
