Agnes was born in June 1872 in Tottton, Hampshire and her christening took place on December 8th, 1872 in Eling, Hampshire.1   Agnes' father was Charles Haymer and her mother was Eliza Harrison.  Her paternal grandparents were James Haymer and Lucy; her maternal grandparents were Henry Harrison and Ann Robinson. She had four sisters named Alice, Mary, Kate and Phoebe.  She was the third oldest of the five children. She had five half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Charles, William, Edward, Arthur, Frederick, Florence, Alice, Bessie, Nellie and Edith.
