Frederick was born in March 1901 in Sholing, Hampshire.1   Frederick's father was Charles Haymer and his mother was Sarah Callun.  His paternal grandparents were James Haymer and Lucy. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Charles, William, Edward, Arthur, Florence, Alice, Bessie, Nellie and Edith.  He was the youngest of the ten children. He had five half-sisters named Alice, Mary, Agnes, Kate and Phoebe.  He died at the age of 10 in March 1911 in Sholing, Hampshire.2
