Stanley was born on October 9th, 1909 in Horsforth Yorkshire.1   Stanley's father was Charles Foster and his mother was Janet Jackson.  His paternal grandparents were John Burnell Foster and Sarah Whitehead; his maternal grandparents were James Jackson and Margaret Agnes Jackson. He had two brothers and a sister, named Herbert, Harry and Sarah Ann.  He was the youngest of the four children.  He died  due to Died of Bronchopneumonia Carcinoma Bronchus at the age of 65 on May 21st, 1975 in Killingbeck Hospital York Road Leeds Yorkshire.  His burial was in 1975 in Lawnswood Crematorium Otley Road Leeds Yorkshire.1 2
