Janet was born on May 23rd, 1875 in Woodside Horsforth Yorkshire.1   Janet's father was James Jackson and her mother was Margaret Agnes Jackson.  Her paternal grandparents were David Jackson and Mary Ann Rhodes; her maternal grandparents are Isaac Nichols and Janet Miller. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Samuel, Fred, Harry, Thomas, Ellen, Mary Ann, Eva, Alice and Ada.  She was the fourth oldest of the ten children.  She died at the age of 54 in 1929 in Horsforth Yorkshire.  Her burial was on May 15th, 1929 in Horsforth Yorkshire.2 2
