Jane Taylor (Jean)

Jane was born on August 11th, 1823 in Ayr and her baptism took place on August 18th, 1823 in St. Quivox.^1 2

Jane's father was Andrew Taylor and her mother was Ann Scoffield.  Her maternal grandparents were James Scoffield and Jane Bone. She had six brothers and five sisters, named James, Andrew, Robert, Andrew, David, Joseph, Barbra, Annie, Jannet, Janet and Mary.  She was the fourth youngest of the twelve children.  She died due to heart disease, Cardiac Syncope, at the age of 71 on March 22nd, 1895 in Loudon.
