Annie's father was Andrew Taylor and her mother was Ann Scoffield.  Her maternal grandparents were James Scoffield and Jane Bone. She had six brothers and five sisters, named James, Andrew, Robert, Andrew, David, Joseph, Barbra, Jannet, Janet, Mary and Jane.  She was the third oldest of the twelve children.  She died at the age of 79 on July 10th, 1891 in Kilmarnock.
