William McMurran

William was born in 1879 in Ayrshire.¹ William's father was William McMurran and his mother was Annie Mcintosh. His paternal grandparents were John McMurran and Agnes Robertson. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named John, James, George, Jonathan, Thomas, Hugh, Adam, McMurran, Alison, Jennie and Marion. He was the fifth oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 61 on June 5th, 1940 in Glasgow.
