Thomas McMurran 
Thomas was born in 1886 in Kilmarnock.1 2 Thomas' father was William McMurran and his mother was Annie Mcintosh. His paternal grandparents were John McMurran and Agnes Robertson. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named John, James, William, George, Jonathan, Hugh, Adam, McMurran, Alison, Jennie and Marion. He was the fifth youngest of the twelve children.-
