Andrew Bowman

Andrew was born in 1847 in Kilmarnock.^1 2   Andrew's father was Dalrymple Bowman and his mother was Jane Taylor.  His maternal grandparents were Andrew Taylor and Ann Scoffield. He had eight brothers and three sisters, named William, Robert, George, Helen, David, Hugh, Dalrymple, Joseph, Janet, Annie and Elizabeth.  He was the second oldest of the twelve children.  He died due to a medical problem, Glandular disease of Bowels about 3 years, at the age of 28 on January 7th, 1875 in Galston.
