Ellennora Aitken

Ellennora was born in 1834 in Irvine.^1 2   Ellennora's father was James Aitken and her mother was Janet Aird.  Her maternal grandparents were Thomas Aird and Helen Crawford. She had five brothers and three sisters, named James, Thomas, John, Matthew, Lawrence, Nancy, Elisabeth and Janet.  She was the fifth oldest of the nine children.  She died at the age of 59 in 1893 in Glasgow.
