Mary Ann Polly was born about 1772.  Mary Ann Polly's father was Richard Tankersley and her mother was Mary Thornley.  Her paternal grandparents were George Tankersley and Mary Longley Long. She had five brothers named George, John, Richard, Reuben and Peter.  She was the youngest of the six children.  She died on August 8th, 1815.
