Martha was born on April 10th, 1795.  Martha's father was Alexander McCracken and her mother was Margaret possibly Marshall.  Her maternal grandparents were Capt Henry Marshall and Mattie possibly Chambers. She had nine brothers and four sisters, named Henry, William, Robert Marshall, James, Alexander, Henry, John Murry, Arthur, Mary Polly, Sarah, Lillie, Margaret and Jane.  She was the nineth oldest of the fourteen children.  She died at the age of 43 on April 21st, 1838.
