Louis Lyle was born on March 31st, 1903 in , Wayne County, Iowa, USA.1 Louis Lyle's father was William Preston Garton and his mother was Maude Alice Caldwell. His paternal grandparents were George Washington Garton and Mary Susan Shipley. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Charles Lee, Lloyd Orville, Claire Allen, Mardis Woodrow, James Richard, Ufa Imogene, Fern Elizabeth, Annetta Mary, LaRue Ellen, Doris Dean and Alice Adelle. He was the sixth oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 45 on October 25th, 1948 in Humeston, Wayne County, Iowa, USA.1 -
