Lloyd Orville was born on October 10th, 1904 in , Wayne County, Iowa, USA.1 Lloyd Orville's father was William Preston Garton and his mother was Maude Alice Caldwell. His paternal grandparents were George Washington Garton and Mary Susan Shipley. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Charles Lee, Louis Lyle, Claire Allen, Mardis Woodrow, James Richard, Ufa Imogene, Fern Elizabeth, Annetta Mary, LaRue Ellen, Doris Dean and Alice Adelle. He was the sixth youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 66 on July 26th, 1971 in Leon, Decatur County, Iowa, USA.
