James Richard Garton 
James Richard was born on October 30th, 1918 in , Wayne County, Iowa, USA.1 James Richard's father was William Preston Garton and his mother was Maude Alice Caldwell. His paternal grandparents were George Washington Garton and Mary Susan Shipley. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Charles Lee, Louis Lyle, Lloyd Orville, Claire Allen, Mardis Woodrow, Ufa Imogene, Fern Elizabeth, Annetta Mary, LaRue Ellen, Doris Dean and Alice Adelle. He was the youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 46 on February 18th, 1965 in Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa, USA. He was buried in Humeston Cemetery, Wayne County, Iowa, USA.1 1 -
