John Balliol of Scotland 
John Balliol of's father was John de Balliol and his mother was Devorguilla MacDonald de Galloway. His paternal grandparents were Hugh de Balliol and Cecilia de Fontaines; his maternal grandparents were Alan MacDonald de Galloway and Margaret Dunkeld of Huntingdon. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Alan, Roger FitzJohn de Balliol, William, Cecily, Euphemia, Eleanor and Ada. He died in April 1314 in Family estates at Bailleul, France. He was buried in Church of St Waast, Normandy.General Notes
