George William Coen 
George William was born on July 13th, 1864 in Menominee, Dunn Co., Wisconsin. George William's father was Jonathan Morris Coen and his mother was Millicent Bailey. His paternal grandparents were Levi Coen and Sarah Elizabeth Gatton; his maternal grandfather was John J. Bailey and his maternal grandmother is Rhoda Osborn. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Isaac Elmer, James Monroe, Jesse David, Rhoda Elizabeth, Ada Abigail, Ida Mae and Minnie Belle. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 88 on May 27th, 1953 in Greeene or Waterloo, Iowa. He was buried in Rosehill Cemetery, Greene Co., Iowa.-
