James Monroe Coen 
James Monroe was born on October 4th, 1871 in Menominee, Dunn Co., Wisconsin. James Monroe's father was Jonathan Morris Coen and his mother was Millicent Bailey. His paternal grandparents were Levi Coen and Sarah Elizabeth Gatton; his maternal grandfather was John J. Bailey and his maternal grandmother is Rhoda Osborn. He had three brothers and four sisters, named George William, Isaac Elmer, Jesse David, Rhoda Elizabeth, Ada Abigail, Ida Mae and Minnie Belle. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 62 in 1933.-
