Charles Gatton Coen 
Charles Gatton was born on March 8th, 1836 in Perry Township, Monroe Co., Ohio. Charles Gatton's father was Levi Coen and his mother was Sarah Elizabeth Gatton. His paternal grandparents are Eli Coen and Martha; his maternal grandparents were Charles Gatton and Mary Stuller. He had two brothers and three sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Jonathan Morris, William Gatton, Sarah Elizabeth, Matilda Ann, Sarah Elizabeth and Unknown. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He had six half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Levi (jr), Richard (Richmond), Howard, Walter, Alexander, John, Caroline, Julietta, Lovina and Lydia Delilah. He died at the age of 62 on January 12th, 1899 in Eagle Township, Todd Co., Minnesota.-
