John Coen

John was born in 1862 in Morristown, Rice Co., MN.  John's father was Levi Coen and his mother was Delilah Brewer.  His paternal grandparents are Eli Coen and Martha; his maternal grandparents are Stephen Brewer and Susanna Wright. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Levi (jr), Richard (Richmond), Howard, Walter, Alexander, Caroline, Julietta, Lovina and Lydia Delilah.  He is the fourth youngest of the ten children. He had three half-brothers and three half-sisters, and also a half-sibling of unknown gender, named Charles Gatton, Jonathan Morris, William Gatton, Sarah Elizabeth, Matilda Ann, Sarah Elizabeth and Unknown.
