Sarah Elizabeth was born on January 11th, 1848 in Morristown, Rice Co., MN. Sarah Elizabeth's father was Levi Coen and her mother was Sarah Elizabeth Gatton. Her paternal grandparents are Eli Coen and Martha; her maternal grandparents were Charles Gatton and Mary Stuller. She had three brothers and two sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Charles Gatton, Jonathan Morris, William Gatton, Sarah Elizabeth, Matilda Ann and Unknown. She was the youngest of the seven children. She had six half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Levi (jr), Richard (Richmond), Howard, Walter, Alexander, John, Caroline, Julietta, Lovina and Lydia Delilah. She died at the age of 79 on November 29th, 1927 in Parsons, Labette Co., Kansas.-
