Henry was born on February 21st, 1680 in Ridgefield,CT. Henry's father was *John Whitney and his mother was *Elizabeth Smith. His paternal grandparents were *Henry Whitney and *Sarah Soloman; his maternal grandparents were *Richard Smith and *Bathsheba Roberts. He had five brothers and four sisters, named John, Joseph, Richard, Nathan, Josiah, *Elizabeth, Anne, Eleanor and Sarah. He was the third oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 48 on April 26th, 1728 in Ridgefield,CT.-
