Betty was born on November 7th, 1718 in Ridgefield,CT. Betty's father was Henry Whitney and her mother was Elizabeth Olmstead. Her paternal grandparents were *John Whitney and *Elizabeth Smith; her maternal grandparents were John Olmstead and Elizabeth Pardie. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Henry, John, Daniel, Richard, James, Elizabeth and Jerusha. She was the fourth youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 79 on October 13th, 1798 in Ridgefield,CT.-
