Richard Whitney 
Richard was born on May 29th, 1722 in Ridgefield,CT. Richard's father was Henry Whitney and his mother was Elizabeth Olmstead. His paternal grandparents were *John Whitney and *Elizabeth Smith; his maternal grandparents were John Olmstead and Elizabeth Pardie. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Henry, John, Daniel, James, Elizabeth, Jerusha and Betty. He was the second youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 50 on November 18th, 1772 in Ridgefield,CT.-
