John Burchett Swesey

John Burchett was born in 1837.¹ John Burchett's father was John Swesey and his mother was Rosannah Borden. His paternal grandparents were George Sweezey and Rachel McDowell. He had seven brothers and a sister, named Elijah Murray, James H, William G, Alfred Haywood, John Middleton, Jeremiah W, Rachael B and Mary. He was the youngest of the nine children.
