Alfred Haywood Swesey

Alfred Haywood was born on May 22nd, 1830.¹ Alfred Haywood's father was John Swesey and his mother was Rosannah Borden. His paternal grandparents were George Sweezey and Rachel McDowell. He had seven brothers and a sister, named Elijah Murray, James H, William G, John Middleton, Jeremiah W, Rachael B, John Burchett and Mary. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children.
