William Steer

William was born before 1789 and his baptism took place on January 1st, 1789 in Ford Chapel.  William's father was Henry Sture and his mother was Ann Torring.  His paternal grandparents were Henry Sture and Anne Whiteway. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Edmund, George, Henry, John, Edward, Philip, Anne, Mary and Sarah.  He was the third youngest of the ten children.
