Mary Steer

Mary was born before 1781 and her baptism took place on April 1st, 1781 in Ford Chapel.¹   Mary's father was Henry Sture and her mother was Ann Torring.  Her paternal grandparents were Henry Sture and Anne Whiteway. She had seven brothers and two sisters, named Edmund, George, Henry, John, William, Edward, Philip, Anne and Sarah.  She was the fourth oldest of the ten children.
