Anne Steer

Anne was born before 1779 and her baptism took place on June 7th, 1779 in Ford Chapel.¹   Anne's father was Henry Sture and her mother was Ann Torring.  Her paternal grandparents were Henry Sture and Anne Whiteway. She had seven brothers and two sisters, named Edmund, George, Henry, John, William, Edward, Philip, Mary and Sarah.  She was the third oldest of the ten children.
