Philip Steer

Philip was born before 1793 and his baptism took place on March 17th, 1793 in Ford Chapel.¹   Philip's father was Henry Sture and his mother was Ann Torring.  His paternal grandparents were Henry Sture and Anne Whiteway. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Edmund, George, Henry, John, William, Edward, Anne, Mary and Sarah.  He was the youngest of the ten children.
