Edmund Steer

Edmund was born before 1776 and his baptism took place on January 23rd, 1776 in Ford Chapel.¹   Edmund's father was Henry Sture and his mother was Ann Torring.  His paternal grandparents were Henry Sture and Anne Whiteway. He had six brothers and three sisters, named George, Henry, John, William, Edward, Philip, Anne, Mary and Sarah.  He was the oldest of the ten children.
