Henry Sture
Henry was born before 1750 and his baptism took place on May 19th, 1750 in
Woodleigh.

Anne Whiteway. His paternal grandparents were
George Sture and
Sarah Foale. He had two brothers named
Philip and
George. He was the oldest of the three children.
General Notes
The ground on which Ford Independant Chapel in Stokenham and Chivelstone Parishes was built was originally the property of a Henry STEER the younger, who sold the land for at least part of the burial ground at Ford to the trustees by deed dated 30th November 1793. The trustees listed in this deed also include Edmund STEER son of the Henry STEER the younger
