Alice Winstanley 
Alice was born in 1850 in Eccleston.1 Alice's father was Henry Winstanley and her mother was Margaret Williams. Her maternal grandparents were Samuel Williams and Ann Millington. She had a brother and three sisters, named Henry, Ann, Mary and Margaret. She was the youngest of the five children.General Notes
In 1881, Henry (34) and his sister Alice (31) were still single, living together.
Alice and James were married in a religious ceremony on February 6th, 1883 at St. Nicholas (L'pool).2 The family line is yet to be completed.
