Bertha Jane Westpfahl (Johanne Sophie Bertha)

Bertha was born in 1844 in Bremen.¹

Bertha's father was Heinrich Christian Frederick  Westpfahl and her mother was Metha (Margaretha) Sophie Albertine Düssmann.  Her paternal grandparents were Christian Westphal and Rebecca Fricken. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Christian, Heinrich, Johann, Sophie and Louise.  She was the second oldest of the six children. She had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Frederick, Carl, Engle and Annie.  She died at the age of 74 on November 16th, 1918 in Northwich.²
