Thomas' father was Thomas Murphy Wallace and his mother was Mary Alice Oxton.  His maternal grandparents were Joseph Oxton and Mary Lewis. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Joseph, George, Harold, Margaret, Edith, Eva, Ivy and Daisy.  He was the fourth youngest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 27 in September 1931 in Lichfield.  He was buried on September 12th, 1931 in Liverpool.
