Ellen Turner

Ellen was born in December 1840 in Westhoughton.¹

Birth Notes

Ellen's father was William Turner and her mother was Martha Mather. Her paternal grandparents were Isaac Turner and Ann Mather; her maternal grandparents were Edward Mather and Ruth Gregory. She had three brothers named James, Isaac and Joseph. She was the second oldest of the four known children. She had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Edward, Allan and Betty.
