George Blackburn Sykes

George was born in 1873. George's father was Allen Sykes and his mother was Mary Ann Blackburn. His maternal grandparents were George Blackburn and Phebe Oldham. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Benjamin, Allen, Alfred, Phebe, Mary, Annie and Martha. He was the youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 79 on November 15th, 1952.
