In 1901, Mary Ann Sykes (71) was a widow and still a cow keeper with her daughter Annie Wilkinson and family.
Allen and Mary were married in a religious ceremony on July 6th, 1851. They had four sons and four daughters, named Benjamin, Allen, Alfred, George, Phebe, Mary, Annie and Martha. There are no more children.
